Photo Flickr App

Introduction to Photo Flickr App

Photo FLICKR is a photo application which provides multiple ways to flickr your favorite photos using the provided cast (shown in the photo). This app was designed based on the current trend that focus on the concept of more glassy and transparency. The advantage of this application is the combination of two viewers which are on the scrollviewer and cast. This concept is easy for you to stream selected photo and all the features are very user friendly.

The Photo Flickr App can be downloaded using the following link:

First of all, double click on the provided link and download the executable file named flickMe.exe.

After completing downloaded the file, the icon will be appeared on your desktops. If it does not work, please search it in your download folder. If you are not sure where the location is, you may follow these instructions:

Google Chrome:
Move your mouse cursor to the right hand side of chrome toolbar, and click ‘customize and control google chrome’ which is indicated as spanner icon. Then, select ‘under the Hood’ and look at the ‘Download’ section. The download location will direct you where is the correct location of your files.

Mozilla FireFox:
Mozilla Firefox will locate the downloaded file into downloads folder. But, if you insist to change the location, yes it is possible. Just open Tools \ Options and you should see the Downloads section right on the very first screen.

Internet Explorer:
Similar to Mozilla Firefox, this search engine automatically downloads into download folder. Sorry to say, in my experience, there have no way to set the location. However, you always get the popup option to CHOOSE the 'save' location in IE.

1.0 How to use Photo Flickr App
After you have found the executable file, just double clicks on it and Main browser window as shown in figure 1.1 will be showed. There have three buttons which are the first button is used to search and open pictures at your specific path. For example, if you like to view your photo stored in hard drive or pen drive. The following button will open all your pictures which are stored in MyPictures folder. Usually I click on this because all my photos inside MyPictures folder. The last button is to close or exit the App if you find out this app is not interesting. But, once clicked, your PC will be automatically shutting down and will not able to be turned on. (haha..joking)

2.0 How Flickr my Photos on Main Flickr App Window

Ok, this App was designed as user friendly Photo flickr and easily to use. This app had been designed with several features. Once you have opened the pictures folder, what you can see is, your tiny photos will be appeared on the Scrollviewer as shown in figure 2.1. This scrollviewer has been equipped with scrolling feature which is you can scroll these tiny photos to the left or right. Another interesting feature is, you can shift the selected photo on cast for large view by double clicks on the photo or you can easily drag the photo into the cast area.

Don’t worry about the photos name because there have a feature which shows the photo name under the scrollviewer and on the top of cast area.

If you feel confuse with messy combination of scrollviewer and cast, you also have an alternative way to view your photos by clicking the change style button at the top right side.

Remember, you cannot  return to the Main Browser window for browsing another photos but no  worries, I have provided the round menu button on the top left side which  comes with the function - open any folder, open MyPictures folder and close the app.
